Before going solo, Rainie was a member of the band, "4 in love." In the group she received the name, Rainie. After the group disbanded, Rainie went on and pursued a career as a TV host on the "Guess Guess Show."

Rainie had acted in the mega hit drama "Meteor Garden" and landed many roles in dramas especially in the year 2004, Rainie landed a starring role in "Devil Beside You" which proved to be very popular after it was aired in 2005.

From there Rainie's career really took off. In the same year, she released her debut album, "My Intuition" featuring her hit songs "Ai Mei" & "Li Xiang Qing Ren." Since 2004 she had received major popularity as a singer and actress.

Her image since the day she entered the entertainment business has always been the "cute princess." Now, I see that she has transformed into a "beautiful princess." If only others can see that. Rainie Yang Cheng Lin has gone through tough times and has been through it all. She is just an amazing person with the prettiest personality. :)
