ABOUT XRAYGUN: The psychedelic space jam, acid-jazz/funk/trip-hop and madchester influenced band formed by ex-Gutterboy guitarist/vocalist Daniel Hulsizer; ex-drummer/co-founder of angel13 Scott Harris and angel13 bassist/writer/co-founder and also ex-Gutterboy Eric Hulsizer. We have a self-produced EP that we pressed on 10/1/05 which was a studio experiment that features the XRAYGUN core of Danny, Scott, and Eric. If you are interested in a copy, contact us at phunkydrmmr@yahoo.com or come out to see us live. The XRAYGUN live experience is more electric than the EP in which we stretch out our 3-4 minute songs in more of a space-rock jam ala late 60’s early 70’s style. If The Charlatans UK and Love And Rockets were around in the early 70’s and had an acid-jazz trip-hop feel with a Cream/Santana jam vibe based around funk backbeats and melodic basslines ala James Brown and The Meters; with guitar leads overlaid...that would be a brew of what XRAYGUN sort of sounds like. _____________________________________________________________________________________
