Sounds Like
We don't like to stereotype ourselves as our musical tapestry is influenced by what the emotion and energy of the song calls for and is thus crafted with that in mind. R'EYA are not about trends or the latest ringtone fads, we are about SONIC ART! We are music sponges, absorbing the very best of the past, present and weaving it into futurist spatial grooves...Can you Dig It???

R'eya formed in 2008 and are a Groove fusion of Funk, Blues, Jazz and World Music. They play the music that they are passionate about and don't try to fit the mold of "popular" music. Recent Collaborations include working with REDEYE (Projekt Feenix) and The Cox Bros. R'eya continue to push the boundaries to develop a sound that is uniqely theirs and are uncompromising in artistic honesty...keeping it real is what they do best... always!
Thats how they like to DO IT!!
The Green Dragon music festival @ Welton went surprisingly well, as my performance was a solo one..! - Well pleased with the June 09 festival DVD..!! - Cheers for that..! - Tim x
Hi there R'eya... Just managed to edit and upload the videos from June's Green Dragon Festival... Sound + picture is a of dubious quality though..!! - See ya soon.. Tim x (That's if I havn't been arrested for existing first!)
Hey ReYa, miss you too. T, I got footage to get to you, I know, and we got a movie to make.. Time is elusive at moment but July is a great month to catch up, you'll see :)
Hello, trip was good. I have got Harry next Saturday unfortunately and I am going to India 21st May. I will have to see how it goes next mth, keep me updated and we will come when am free. Hope you are well!!x
Hi there R'EYA... My plans for this year, appear to end at the end of May.. after the Cott Fest. I would say that I may well be lost for creative plans after that... The "solo" thing can get monotonous..! There are current plans for 2 or 3 of us to temporarily "come together" for the Cott Fest, but my recording for the Mp3 chart will have reached the end by then, and I think that any further recording would be of a "personally progressive" nature for my site, rather than been of a chart/performable format. In the meantime I'll try to get to the Adelphi on the 16th April and I can meet the rest of the band... after all May is only around the corner isn't it?... Catch you later. Regards, Tim.
Hi there R'eya... Bye the way, my struggling PC will only do "add messages"... Yes me and Bill became confused as to which Thursday it was... but we are now aware of it being the 16th... which I had planned to attend anyway. I've also been looking in more detail at your site and Mystico's too... quite enthralling..!! - See you there. Regards, Tim.
In that case, drag yourself - and anyone else even remotely grabbable - and hie on down to Hull's historic (albeit mephitic) New Adelphi on March 25th. In addition to slaking your thirst for the very finest in enraged liberalbilly schtick and anecdotal frankness, you'll be treated to the feelgood sound of Goole's very own Pete Donnelly From Goole.
Others will also be appearing, but it's our policy never to promote more than one other act in any given message; we're a bit queasy about diverting attention from ourselves to even THAT extent, come to think of it...
Keep it gangsta,
CrackTown
Hello R'eya its great to hear from you. Hope life is treating you all well. So sorry the DVD as taken so long. I've had problems with my video camera. But it seems to be working ok again, so hopefully importing the footage will run smoothly this time. I'll make a not of it in my diary. Be real good to see you again. x
