About me:

Surprise, suprise! We've changed our name from XS BS To Katcall Magazine. Why? Well, XS BS has always been published by Katcall Creative Studio so we've taken on our namesake and we've also made some format changes to spice things up a bit and wake up our senses. Not that we had any to begin with but that's a different story...

We will be publishing a killer magazine (pdf format) AND continue the blog as usual. Check out the details below.

Katcall Magazine (First Issue May 2009)

Dare to be different. Do you scour the internet and new stands for images that inspire you? As artists ourselves we wanted to create something different. We refuse to have an index page. We refuse to conform to the typical magazine format. Instead, each month our issues will be packed full of edgy, amazing imagery from world wide contributors. It's a visual feast of inspiration. Ignite your creativity!

Are we a fashion magazine? No not really. Music magazine? Er, not exactly. We prefer not to be labelled but if you must... we are a fashion, music, art magazine. We are lovers of imagery and music. Seekers of inspiration and beauty.

Issues will be published monthly in pdf format only and will be available for download on our website.

Each Issue will feature the following sections:
- Fashion/Beauty Editorials (more of a focus on photography)
- Individual focus on visual artists
- Music Section
- Confessions: Q & A

It's the same blog that has been online since 2007 with the same cool content.

INTERVIEWS/FEATURES We cover backstage exclusives, interviews, exclusive acoustic performances etc.. We will still continue to focus on both indie and major label ROCK bands/artists.

EAR CANDY Rock music only. Features streaming mp3 tracks along with a photo and link to the artists’ website. Tracks are also featured in our music player on our main page.

FEATURED VIDEO We will update this regularly and it will feature our videos as well as newly released music videos.

IN FOCUS This is a new section launching soon. It will feature spotlights on photographers and other visual artists. For submission details hit our website.
