My name is Karissa. I'm an introvert. Quiet, not shy. Never say shy because you will receive a slap in the face.
I'm a writer. Writing is my passion. It's how I vent and get what I really think and feel out into the world. I love writing everything from poems to songs to scripts. I hope to be a screenplay writer and eventually have my crazy thoughts shown to the world on the silver screen.
I am very open-minded. I learned long ago not to judge people. I could care less what the color of your skin is or who you sleep with. You respect me, I'll respect you.
As for what I find attractive: maturity, creativity, and intelligence. I like someone who knows exactly who they are and is proud of it. Someone who is into politics and has a clue about what is going on in the world. I can't stand fakes or posers.
I'm very opinionated (as you can probably tell). I feel that men and women are NOT treated equally and I plan on changing that.
I also plan on changing peoples views on homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality. Hate to break it to you, but yes, we are out there and we're not going away anytime soon.
As you probably guessed, I am a Democrat. Not a big fan of Bush and to anyone who is... not a big fan of you either. I'm incredibly thankful for people like Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon who are not afraid to speak out against our government.
As for religion, not a big fan either. I don't look down on anyone who is religious, it's just not for me.
I love all sorts of movies. I'll pretty much watch anything as long as it's not shit. I'm a fan of Joan Crawford. I love the feeling and style of her movies and wish that more movies were made like that today. Unfortunately Hollywood is going completely downhill and actors who can't act seem to be infesting our movie screens.
I like many different types of music, except for "emo rock" and "todays country." Those two I could do without. NIN is by far my favorite. Trent Reznor is a god in my eyes.
I absolutely worship Ann-Margret. Just a warning for those of you who have to stop and ask yourselves who Ann-Margret is... leave now.
