I don't like watching anything on television unless there are no commercials at all. I also love the movie channels, specifically the Independent Film Channel (IFC)! I also occassionally enjoy PBS, KQED, Arts Showcase, Sundance, Comedy Central, Court TV, etc. I generally hate television because I have never will have enough hours in my day to blow thirty minutes on every twenty minute show padded with commercials every five minutes.

I consider a hero anyone who labors earnestly for the good of all people without concern for recognition. May we all eventually become our own heros!

Blurbs

About me:

I have never been accused of being shallow. I do not follow the crowd, nor do I find it possible to draw my passions from their common spring. I am passionate about my beliefs, art, anthropology, archaeology, history, and music, and more than anything I would like to create original works of my own. In the meantime I am toiling just to vouchsafe my future. I lie in wait, ready to pounce when the moment is right. ....

..

Who I'd like to meet:

Artistic people who are able and willing to work with others without argument when it comes to creating something worthy of notice to the rest of the world. I do not believe in being choosy when it comes to creating art. What is important is simply that others are willing to add their perspective in a fitting way to what they collaborate on. If you can shape your views to benefit the creativity of others, then you cannot help but be an open-minded person -and those are the sort of people I prefer to meet. In the end nothing is as important as just channeling your energy into something that can be appreciated and looked back at with pride by all. It is worth working with others and giving whatever it takes to accomplish this.

    Hi Robert,

Thank you for inviting us to the Movie night. It was fun to watch the movies and visit the house where we used to have so many parties when we were teenagers. I can’t believe how crazy we were back then. Anyway, excellent movie choices! I can now take The Wanders off my to-watch-list.

    Thanks,
    Jason

    No worries :-)

I am feeling much better now, thank God! I hate being sick, it sucks ass. I hear ya about having shitty days off. Tim's schedule is like that. We basically only have Sunday's to actually go out and spend the whole day together. It bite's the big one, but so far so good. I mean we are still together and it's been alittle over 5 years.

I hope you have a good work week, and a good day today!
  • Dec 8 2008 9:07 AM

Sadly, I don't think my weekend is going to be very much fun.I woke up today with a sore throat and now I'm all pissy.

    Poo on being sick.

"I would like to encourage all of Las Vegas, to have MORE DAYTIME SHOWS (and marketing, advertizing, is the key to success). As many visitors are on EAST COAST TIME. So, 1PM here is 4 PM on east coast time, the end of the work day for many. And 7PM (typical showtimes here) is 10PM east coast time (past bedtime for most east coast persons). People tend to stick with their regular sleep pattern. And day time shows bring in more customers. I think the future of Las Vegas will have "ROUND THE CLOCK 24/7 ENTERTAINMENT" (comedy & magic & dancers & singers at any hour), and 24 HOUR BUFFETS (7AM east coast time, breakfast time, is 4AM here). Many Europeans wake up at 8AM or midnight our time. Japanese visitors may party till at least 8PM their time, or around 4AM our time. And its only polite to have a nice place for our guests to sit down. Las Vegas and the World needs to abandon "slash & burn" mentality. Forests need to be replenished, and Las Vegas needs to cater to "Return Visitors" and "Return INTERNATIONAL Visitors", with the help of "well treated, respected, workers". Perhaps "The Strip" may someday close to motorized traffic, and have a big garden with fountains, and moving walkways. Mayor Oscar Goodman should bring professional sports teams to Las Vegas, we need our own football, hockey, baseball, and basketball teams. The Mirage Volcano is not enough, we need Volcanos all over town now, to burn off all the gas."
