I'm a g33k. A technocrat of the highest order. I live for technology (especially if it's Macintosh related.. what? I have an immunity to the koolaid after this long, honest), gaming, books, comics, movies... all the normal geeky endeavors.
Ok, there are non-geek interests too. I love excellent alcohol, fine cigars, kick-ass music, tattoos and my woman.
And pirates. Not all in that order.Music
..Rob Zombie, Flogging Molly, Sabbath, Manson, Dropkick Murphys, Eminem, Bif Naked, NIN, Ministry, No Doubt, Rollins, Poe, Slayer, L7, LunaChicks, Tori Amos, Aerosmith, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, BB King, Magnetic Fields, Therion, Shakira, P!nk, Megadeth... ok a bit of everything.
Last 5 songs played in iTunes/Last.FM: ..Movies
..Kevin Smith flix, Pirates of the Caribean and other pirate movies, Serenity, Lock Stock & Two Smokin Barrels, Snatch, Underworld, Prophecy, Reservoir Dogs, X-Men, Clay Pigeons, Suicide Kings, Fight Club, Cowboy Bebop, Last Supper, Bladerunner, Very Bad Things, se7en, Crow, Matrix, Army Of Darkness, Ghost In The Shell, Blade, Aliens, zombie flix, ...and so many more I can't even begin to remember them all.Television
..Firefly (motherfucker), Battlestar Galactica, Bullshit, Mythbusters, Dresden Files, L-word, Stargate, Rollergirls, Cowboy Bebop, Daily Show, Lost, 24 (It's getting really BAD)
Where's the PODCAST section? I'll make it here: Skeptic's Guide To The Universe, the Totally Rad Show, Geekscape, This Week in Tech, Diggnation, Smodcast, Girls on Film, TikiBarTV, Ctrl-Alt-Chicken, Grammar Girl, Skepticality...Books
..Good Omens - Gaiman & Pratchet, Devils Dictionaries - Bierce & Bufe, the Thesaurus, Beyond Good & Evil- Nietzche, Neuromancer - Gibson, Why I am Not a Xian - Russel, COMICS (e.g. Preacher, Dogwitch, GunFu, SinCity, Ennis, Moore, Ellis, Miller, ... ), Secret Societies - Daraul, anything by Poe, Lovecraft, Adams, Gaiman, Pratchet, Twain, Gibson...Heroes
..Jon Stewart. In a tights and a cape. ... Oh, and James Randi, Penn Jillette, Kevin Smith, Teller, Mark Twain, Rob Zombie, Johnny Depp, Frank Miller... Oh, and now Steven Colbert. Talk about "speaking truth to power." Dayumn.

About me:
.. I'm a geek. Tech, comics, games and stuff like that are a high priority for me. TWiT, Digg and Geekdrome are some of my favorite things online. Mac rules, but I avoid platform wars like the plague. (Everybody loses.) WoW level 60 forsaken warlock. Horde>Alliance.
I'm an atheist and a skeptic. James Randi is my hero. I listen to Penn radio daily, and am entertained even when I disagree with him. Mythbusters might not be science, but it's damned entertaining. I strongly dislike religion, but get along fine with religious people. I hate "psychics" but oddly enjoy fiction about them.
I'm a politcal moderate extremist. I think both the left and right are full of it. I hate big government, but hate more that the Republicans don't know that they ARE big government. I wish I was a Libertarian... but I'm just not. Libertarian-lite, maybe.
Other not-so-random, favorite things: pirates, zombies, Jon Stewart, Kevin Smith, Rob Zombie, good beer, fine wine...
known aliases: r3v, cls, xt0ph3r, reverend, RevK, Kambei, revcls, warpath, Snide, Iceman, Peloquin and, uh... Chris.
Oh, and I'm Zero Division in second life.
That's my new "about me text". I wrote it when I created an account over at LibraryThing. I still don't blog here. r3v.com is my home. That's where the magic really happens.
Oh, by the way, I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6!
Who I'd like to meet:
OMG! YOU! ...ok, maybe not. Seriously though, see the people in my heroes section. Exept Mark Twain, cuz he's dead. Unless it's a ZOMBIE MARK TWAIN. How cool would THAT shit be?Hrm. He might not be so good at the witty banter with a slushy brain, so maybe not so cool after all. And it would be sort of a bummer to have to shoot him in the head with a boomstick. You know, Ash-style.
Ok, leave Mr. Twain off the list.
Bummer.
