Xtacy Xport is a Live performing R&B / Hip-Hop band that’s created from seven people with different backgrounds, different styles of music.
May 2007, Rick (Keyboards), Mikey (Rap/Vocal), Charm (Guitar), and Yuki (Drums) decided to start a Hip-Hop/R&B Band in Berklee College of Music. They had a gig that summer and they were supposed to be a one-time band. For that gig, Rick called his friend Kohei (Bass) to play the bass for the band. After their rehearsals, they decided to add more color to their music by adding a female vocal. Rick found Justine and Kayla (Vocal) as female vocal through Hip Hop Production class in Berklee College of Music. They named the band Xtacy Xport and decided to become a gigging Live Hip-Hop/R&B Band. Xtacy Xport mainly performs in Boston, Massachusetts. They made their first gig contract with the local wine store and performed at the store for a weekly gig. Starting from the weekly gig, they gradually increased their number of their performances through meeting many other people. However in August 2007, the bass-player Kohei had to leave the band because he had to return to his home country.
September 2007, Xtacy Xport found a new bass player Reuben (Bass) in Berklee College of Music and continued performing mainly in Boston. On September 17, 2007 Xtacy Xport performed at the Fenway Park as the main entertainment performer for the C2C festival sponsored by the Partnership Inc.
