Today is a sad day, one we will never forget...

 

A Day Of Mourning

This day we mourn our fellow man
Who lost their lives in our cherished land
The memory is embroiled in our minds
Among any reasoning we try to find

We remember the loved ones we held so dear
We try to cope with this day, year after year
It's a memory we don't like to think of
We remember lives lost of those we love

This sad day will be forever haunting
As this world grows evermore taunting
We must bring peace upon our neighboring lands
Put love in our hearts as we take each others hand

Hold hands around the globe and look above
To send our fallen heroes our heartfelt love
Pray that this world will find true peace
That war and hatred will truly cease.
