Xuei Ruff, sound engineer, DJ and producer of dark music (dark drum'n'bass, electrodark, industrial...), is the label manager of "Ruff-Tang Productions" and the owner of the recording studio "Ruff-Tang Laboratories".
He started production in 1997 and his first autoproduced album, called "The Beginning - Le Commencement", was released in 2000 on the Internet.
He started DJ'ing in 2000 on the swiss webradio Basic.ch with his own show, called "Ruff-Tang Show" (two houres of live DJ mix, once every two fridays).
In the Summer 2002, he made his first drum'n'bass DJ set at The Zoo club (Geneva).
In 2003, he launched the recording studio Ruff-Tang Laboratories (mixing, mastering and dub-plate cutting).
From 2004 to 2006, he did a collaboration with the crew of the Uzic radio show.
In the same years, Xuei Ruff and Ken'Bro worked together and produced every months a dark improvisation, played on the webradio channel of Uzic.ch.
The sub-label XRU Recordings (dark'n'bass) was launched in 2006 with the release of the first single. The same year, a special remastered version of the album "The Beginning - Le Commencement" was released on the label Ruff-Tang Prod.
In 2007, Xuei Ruff joined the Feeling and Sound crew.
Pour le dimanche 29 juin 2008, le Boxens festival finit sur une bonne note :) La diffusion de la finale de l'Euro 2008 aura lieu sur place avec Ecran géant ! Pour les non passionné(e)s de foot il y aura 15 djs pour vous faire vibrer :)
Le festival finit à 05h00 du matin... ça sera les prolongations !!
«Morphogenesis» proposes an initiation trip through the cultures and the Ages, where ancestral voices are confronted with the deafening silence of modernity. Within this second album, «Mind Necrosis Factor» mixes acoustic instruments and shooting rhythms, tribal cries and post-industrial atmospheres. More than genesis of a new shape, this album relates the emergence of a mind, from the obscurity of the first moments to pain cessation. It invites us to look beyond the flesh, to feel the breath of the hidden self inside us.
