Sounds Like
we have many influences but we don't really sound like any of them. One day people will be comparing their music to us..."our new stuff sounds like early Shway"
the Shwa is comprised of Beth Thompson (formerly of Medicine and FourWayCross) and Steve Gerdes (formerly of FourWayCross). The band is located in the Glendale/Silverlake/Eaglerock area of Los Angeles. THEIR FIRST CD WAS COMPLETED SEPTEMBER 2007 AND IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THIS PAGE BY SIMPLY CONTACTING THE BAND and they will be releasing the first Video by july of 2008.
It's the smash remix everyone's watching at myspace (http://tr.im/circusgroove is the url) now in rotoscope via ToonIt v2 from Red Giant Software for Final Cut Studio
This remix features the instrumental version of Bump by Anything But Monday.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL! THANKS FOR YOUR CONTINUING LOVE AND SUPPORT! WE APPRECIATE YOU GUYS AND HOPE THIS YEAR IS A CREATIVE, PRODUCTIVE AND SUCCESSFUL YEAR FOR YOU ALL!

my humblest apologise Steve! for some reason i was thinking you were brad laner! that was weird... loL again, my apologise, my brain went on a retrospective tangent while i was typing.. plus i had just finished watching the vid to time baby 3 which confused me, i swear! :D
The new songs are so magical, so transcendent and wonderful...they make me want to find a spot in the darkness and dance beneath the stars. Their is this haunted quality that gives way to warmth that really resonates with me, and it's present in your voice, in the lyrics- there is such a sweetness, but it's sweetness with depth. & the final mystery song is one of the most simply beautiful songs ever, one to melt the snow. All the best to you and thanks for the perfect musical feng shwa! (sorry...)
Hi Beth, I'm a big fan and I'm definitely excited to hear your new, upcoming release. Hopefully you'll make a stop at the Double Door or another venue in Chicago.
