X-WILD was a German Heavy Metal band, formed in 1992 by three ex members of RUNNING WILD: Stefan Schwarzmann (also ex-HELLOWEN, ACCEPT and KROKUS), Axel Morgan and Jens Becker (currently in GRAVE DIGGER). Their music was a continuation of the classic RUNNING WILD style (known from albums such as "Blazon Stone", "Pile Of Skulls" or even "Port Royal"), coupled with a way stronger vocals, of the British vocalist Frank Knight. Band released three fantastic albums: "So What!" in 1994, "Monster Effect" in 1995, and "Savageland" in 1996 - featuring new drummer Frank Ullrich (ex-GRAVE DIGGER & LIVING DEATH). After the tour in 1995 (feat. another drummer: Rainer Heubel (ex-MANIA)) the band stopped to exist... This page was created as the tribute to this absolutely outstanding band (and of course was made with the Metal blessing of the original X-WILD members).
