Anything to do with music and movies. Photography, in particularly black and white photography. I also love introducing people to new music they have never heard before, or getting out listening to new music myself.
Music
I listen to anything and everything. Whether it's Britney Spears, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Kiss or The Plain White T-shirts. I believe every genre has great music, you just have to take the chance and listen to it. You could be surprised.
I also think that it doesn't matter how old the band is, or what year they started or even what era. Music doesn't change. If it's great music then it stays great music.
Look at Stairway to heaven, johhny b goode, lucy in the sky with diamonds, purple rain...all classics and still going strong today.
Movies
I am a confessed Quentin Tarrentino fan. I love Reservoir Dogs, and the style of Pulp Fiction. But then I will happily watch a thriller, romance, chick flick, and horror. I'm a movie junkie, which helps when you review movies for a living.
Television
TV...yeah good TV shows do actually exist. They just tend to get axed a lot. No, in serious, I am a big crime fan. I admit to have more than a passing interest in NCIS, CSI, Law and Orders, Bones, anything that takes you to the crime scene and lets you work your way through the crime too.
Books
I read anything. From history books on the Holocaust or the Mythology to Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson, Anne Rice and Stephen King. Books and music used to be the only way I could escape from my life when I was younger.
Heroes
Anyone who is willing to take a dream and make it happen.
Idols anyone who have taken the courage to kick the world in the ass.
In particularly those who have gone to the darkest edge of their soul, and made it back alive.
Apart from that...the door is always open
About me: Crosswired Entertainment was formed in 2005, with a group of friends who decided they wanted to contribute to the entertainment industry-through TV and music.
They wanted to share their passion with others. In doing so, they created Xwired TV, a show that until recently was on Channel 31. An arts/entertainment and fashion program, it highlights Melbourne's arts and entertainment scene, in particularly Melbourne's music scene. It has been described as 'Melbourne's premier underground arts show'.
Our aim is to produce a television series that gives artists an opportunity to showcase their talent and skills.

The TV show is currently on hiastus, with Crosswired deciding to move forward, after the success of the show on 31, take it to the next level. We hope to be back soon, on a new station, to show all your favourite Australian and International artists.
But about little ole me? The muse behind this page? I'm a freelance music Journalist, who lives and breathes music. When I'm not freelancing, I am working on http://www.xwiredonline.com. writing reviews, and keeping all up to date on what's happening.
In between that I dabble in photography, writing scripts and novels and occasionally still work as a PR consultant, or as some may put it, spin doctor.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who has a deep enough passion about music to look beyond the neat tunes, and really listen to the lyrics. To know that it's not about the record labels, the spin doctors, but about rock n roll and the ability to blow someone away with a song that rivals the likes of stairway to heaven, purple rain, sweet home alabama.
To know that, that music is not just a hobby but an addiction that you can't live without. That you need that fix of rock n roll to just get by that one day.

NEW MUSIC, HERE & NOW!!!
Just wanted to let you know I've been hard at work in the studio for my long overdue sophomore album, and have just posted a new track for you to preview. The song is called "SLOW ME DOWN" and it's a demo that I did at home, co-written by the very talented Johnny Reid! I am so excited about the new album that I just couldn't wait to share SOMETHING with everybody, so I hope you enjoy this little "sneak peak"!!
