THE BIRTH OF THE MONSTER-
MONSTER MASH was formed in late 2005 by father and son Chris (drums) and Dale Falkenberg (guitar/vocals). Later that month Chris was talking w/ his friend John Doe and asked if he wouldn't mind jamming w/ them. After about a week of jamming John stepped on full time on lead guitar and vocals.
This trio wrote and recorded early Monster Mash material such as "BATMAN" &" SPIDERMAN" and put out the bands first EP. In early 2006 Monster Mash found bassist Brad Geistbrick, and back up vocalist/precussionist Denise Moore, A.k.A. Vampria. Mid-2006 additional vocals Rachael Dame was added into the band. By late 2007, Brad had fadded out of the band and HORNDOG was added in as bass. Also in the 2007 year, Viper had to also move on, MAD MAN MIKEY was added in on effects/keyboards. Leaving the final five.
Is was in early 2006 that Monster Mash released thier first full lenght cd. recorded @ koth kat studios.

In early 2007 Monster Mash released it's 2 newest comp. cd's. Smokin Originals and Twisted Covers. Smokin Originals consists of the bands original tunes, while Twisted Covers is a comp. of the bands cover songs, such as The Monster Mash, Batman, Spiderman, the Addams Family and countless others.
In sept. of 07' Monster Mash Released thier first LIVE DVD. The DVD is of a show called Monster fest 2007, and shows a variety of the show from loading, before the show with make up & costumes & playing.
Monster Mash is often heard on raido stations such as, 92.5 the Bear out of Merced Ca. J-J Raido out of Hollywood Ca. and Turlock City Radio KCSS 91.9 out of Turlock Ca.
Monster Mash recently signed with RESPAWN RECORED to produce our newest comp. cd -UNDERGROUND ASSAULT 5- *GLOBAL DEVASTATION* This record has been sent out to 600 raido stations across the US, and is available at BEST BUY stores everywhere.
In 2009 Monster Mash released there 5th album, "FREDDY THE CAT".
featuring a song about a dead cat, the cd also features "lock your doors" and the bands kick-Butt! "Metallica Medly" along with some other smokin tunes!The cd is available @ Dales Guitar & music lessons Turlock Ca. 95380
The band also signed a deal in late 09' with the Ca. Central Valley AM JAM COMPETITION to do a small tour on the west coast skateparks.

Monster mash is often compared to bands such as KISS, GWAR, and THE MISFITS, due to their music, their creative make-up and costume schemes, and the amazing live show they put on.
Monster Mash has a wide range of sound, paying their own twisted covers such as BATMAN & SPIDER MAN the band also does a few real covers, such as Ozzy's Crazy train, and a Metallica medley. the band also has its orgionals such as Bullets and Grim Ghosts, witch can be heard on myspace.
When Monster Mash preforms its more than a band, its a show. Monster Mash has 3 huge tubs of props they use at every show, inc. fake bones, body parts, scary monsters, tons of blood, and blow up Frankensteins and vampires to set the stage. when the band preforms they are in full costume and blood.
Monster Mash is also very professional live. Using 5 full marshall stacks, a 7 piece gretsch drum kit, the stage looks good. the use of set lists insures a smooth running show, and the useage of many guitars and basses insures no tuning or changing strings on stage ever.
Monster Mash has also recently made it into the top 100 (38th) in myspace bands out of 1,256,487 in the Rock Categorie.
With their unique style of Origional songs, and Smokin covers, Monster Mash is a fun band with off-the wall shows featuring Fire Blowers, severed body parts, bones, lazers, fog, and a crew of Monsters and Zombies. MONSTER MASH IS A MUST-SEE BAND.
