About me: Photography has been a hobby of mine for about six years now, I have been studying and practicing on my own and through college classes. Most of my studies and interests have focused on portraiture, however I do have an interest in still life and landscape photography. I guess a little introduction to me, I moved up to the Minneapolis area from Rochester in june for school. I am a driven, jubilant, passionate, whimsical, tree hugging, eccentric, quirky, and artsy person. Because I am eccentric and quirky most people who meet me probably think that I am a little weird at first. But everyone who gets to know me ends up being a great friend. To me the most important part of a person is a great personality and open-mindedness.
In the last few years I started to become more environmentally minded. Along with changing some of my environmental beliefs I also discovered truths about my spiritual beliefs. I have always been an agnostic, but when I started to research my views I discovered that I have strongly pagan influences. I did not know what paganism was, so I did some research. As I discovered more about paganism it kind of reinforced my new environmental views. One thing I do believe about most first world dwellers is that we are so reactionary and not proactive enough to change our lifestyle, in light of the environmental crisis, until it is too late. And because of that belief I do not think that we should be putting any more humans on this earth. That is one way we can solve many environmental issues without having to completely change our lifestyles.

Anyway, I believe it is important to have passions in one's life and here are a couple of mine. I love photography; I have been studying and practicing it for the past five years. I like card magic; I'm trying to get back into it after having put it down for a few years. I'm into bicycling and learning, I'm working to get my bachelor's and then Ph.D. in economics. And don't get me started on economics unless you have hours to listen to me. :-)
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone that is strong headed, confident, intelligent, independent, creative, fun person who has integrity, a sense of humor and can take accountability in their life.
