General
I like to spend my spare time...playing on my guitar, fishing, hanging out with good friends, going to the movies, hit up the bar/club, play pool/darts, sit outside during a good storm, going to awesome concerts, go to the beach, or take out frustration on the 360 stix. But all in all, sometimes a good book will do too.
Music
Country, Rock, some Hip-Hop, Jazz, Blues, a little bit of Rap...not too biased. If it's got a good beat and/or killer guitar riff in there somewhere I'm rockin' out. Van Halen, Eagles of Death Metal, Pat Green, Kanye, Celldweller, Snoop, Timbaland just to name a few of my favorites...there's more of course just too many great artists out there.
Movies
I like them all, from the cheese B-movie to the thriller Japanese flicks. Favorites will always be Rambo, Die Hard, Harold Ramis flix. If you want something to really throw your mind and twist it, rent one of those JapThrillers... 3Xtremes is a good example. Stupid comedies are always great too. Believe it or not I liked the Notebook. I've scene so many movies, it's hard for me not to try to figure the ending...and I've gotten darn good and spoiling the end, so BEWARE!
Television
Didn't watch a whole lot of TV...movies yes. But not until I stayed with the Mahoney's for a month, trying to leave Vegas when I watched the ever elusive midday mini-series. I got hooked ok CSI, CSI: Miami, Charmed...yah, I'm just as puzzled as you are, other crime series, tried to get into Heroes...sorry Chris, but just too far into it. I've always been a fan of Prison Break. When CSI comes on I veg out and don't accomplish anything.
Books
I never really liked/enjoyed reading until about 5 years ago. A friend up in AK had these series of books he always brought in. The books were written by R.A. Salvatore and were about a lone drow elf, Drizzt Do'Urden. I was hooked after the first book. Thanks Bill. I also enjoy westerns, by LaMour; vietnam era, by O'Brien; other barbaric novels, by Howard; and Heinlein books are good too. Always on the prowl for the next good Salvatore novel.
Heroes
There's a lot of comic book heroes. Some of those favorites from childhood have made it to the BIG screen. Not all of their movies have been blockbusters, but it's still worth it to see how the actors bring them to life. From Batman, Spidey, Ghostrider, IronMan, and still waiting for someone to take on a good Captain America remake. Chuck Norris, VanDam, and Arnold have also been great movie heroes.
