Sounds Like
Nothing you've heard before!
(Unless you've ever listened to nerd bands with guitars and drums machines, who can't sing properly)
By day, The Clap may seem like 3 professional nerds in dead end jobs - but by night... they're asleep.
In between this however, they sometimes do find the time to write a few songs, play a few gigs and act like rockstar posers.
After an early gig, they were described as being "like the first season of Buffy - it was shit, we knew it was shit, Joss Whedon knew it was shit - but we liked it all the same"
But since then the band has gone from strength to strength and the most recent review said "The Clap are one of my favourite culchie Dublin bands at the moment, if they could only ditch their really shitty songs and make sets with 'One Race', 'Nobody Likes Us' & 'The Star Bar Song', I reckon they could nail a really great show. just add a few better ones guys."
Surely great things are in store for them (and by 'them', I mean 'us' - obviously).
