I love hardcore, punk, oi!, crust, metal (mostly thrash, death, doom and black), anarcho-punk, hard rock, southern rock, Irish music, dirty & raw rock'n'roll, grind, noise, industrial and every kind of sperimental and extreme music.
Most of all I love 80s Italian hardcore, harDCore, Nardcore, Orange County and bandana-thrash!
Movies
Un-organized tastes coming from sci-fi to thrillers, from action movies to horror.
Among the others: City Of God, American History X, La Haine, The Big Lebowski, Sin City, Pulp Fiction, The Godfather, Alien, Blade Runner...
Television
Not too much into TV, just Romanzo Criminale (la serie), Prison Break, The Shield and CSI or some brilliant stuff like Little Britain, The Simpson, South Park... right by now.
Books
James Ellroy (opera omnia), Neil Gaiman, Valerio Evangelisti, Gene Wolfe, Richard Adams, a lot of thrillers and classic horror writers.
Everything about music and music related stuff.
Heroes
My brothers, my wife and my daughter in no specific order...
About me: I was into hardcore and metal scene since early 80s and I have been part of labels, concert agencies, fanzines and webzines.
In 90s, I run the promotion office for Boundless records (while sharing killer moments with my mates Chemical) and in early 2ks I was part of code666 crew as promo man.
In 1996 I joyned forces with UTDcrews to support the Italian East Coast hardcore scene and to organize the first Italian Superbowl Hardcore (When Mind Reflects, Growing Concern, Miskatonic University and Chemical). The DVD of the event is now out and you can order it at http://www.8records.net/wmr/dvd.htm.
I was editor for many zines like Rrroooaaarrr, No More, Wounded Words, E904, AKOM, code666 webzine.
Recently I was a senior editor for http://www.hmp.it (one of the most open-minded and professional Italian webzines).
At the moment, I'm chief-editor for the hardcore & punk area inside Audiodrome (www.audiodrome.it), so keep in touch for cooperations, updates and news.
I'm proudly working to back Scald (check their myspace profile), in the struggle to spread their incredible music and visions.
My younger brother Josh is the singer for well known bands To Kill and Face The Fact from Roma (check their myspace pages).
In loving memory of my brother Jacopo (1972/2004, RIP).
You thought it was a trend, you were wrong: this is Family!

On the 7th day of the 7th month of the 7th year of christo-century XXI, following XIV, greying years of progressive, sludge-grinding evolution, Ireland's idiosyncratic, doom-thrashing experimentalists, Scald, give a horned salute and a blackened nod to their pre-Scaldic, grindcore roots, via initialisation of foreordainment period 777, with the Vermitronic Systems/Midhir Records (Ireland) licensed, 'Fluke' E.P. - VI damning citations of short, sharp and filthy, rage-filled, blackened grindcore punk/thrashing crust-metal vitriol and an apocalyptic dead end of bipolarized, unholy industrial epicism, chronologically unleashed against the unfortunately ongoing, ancient global keepers of tyrannical, papagandist religiosity.
Hey Michele! My week-end is quiet, the show yesterday night in Toulouse was cancelled - the promotor was missing :) Im listenning to the discs i brought back (Beef People rules! as Un Quarto Morto 7', the last Gerda is my new favourite album, haven't listened to Chemical yet), and im doing a big selection between more than 400 pix of the tour in order to post a little album soon. Yours will be in the package :) Have a great sunday! Soon R
Michele ~ what's up, man? Hope all is well over there. I like what I've heard of GSKC. I think crucial blast has their full length. Once finances are squared away I'll pick it up. Hopefully we get to Europe next year. All of it rides on the deathwish releases and whenever they come out. Nothing concrete yet. Word is Jan/Feb for the Overmars split. May/June for full-length.
