Belgian jazz singer Sophie Tassignon has been performing in Belgium and around since several years. Last summer she performed in Toronto (Canada) with Canadian guitarist David Occhipinti and is now starting a new project with Canadian, New York based saxophonist Peter Van Huffel (please check www.petervanhuffel.com and www.myspace.com/petervanhuffelmusic). They have performed in New York with trombonist Samuel Blaser and double bassist Michael Bates and have just recorded their first album after a tour in New York and Canada.
Sophie is also busy with other bands : a vocal band named The Screaming Bitches and an acoustic quartet : Folk-Tassignon Quartet based in Berlin.
In August 2006 Zoshia recorded their first album, "Moon Talk", featuring all original compositions.

Yes, Jempi is a great photographer, although he does not seem to be aware of it. He is very shy. You guys in Belgium should encourage him, because he got a bit depressive the last few months. That is why he hasnt been seen at concerts for almost a whole year! he even missed all the festivals.
