YAHE came to life in the year 2003 in a faraway country in which its members were still able to hear the scream of their roots, customs and memories.
Inserting this screams and feelings in their music they try to give shape to the beautiful landscapes of their memories and of the freedom, combining their music with the sounds of the new world but always maintaining its pureness.
In this transit there have participated musicians from almost all over the American continent, like, for example, from Mexico, Colombia or Peru, just for mentioning a few. YAHE has also taken part at many culutral events in Europe alike in Latin America.
Diego Rodriguez (Supay) and Hernan Martinez (Hiyu), both of them Colombians, begun working on what had to become the group´s first CD.
In the year 2003 they recorded their first CD called „Ancient Whisper“ in which many invited musicians from differrent countries from all over Latin America contributed: Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia etc.
In the year 2006 Efrain Mamani (Rumi) and Rolando Ccapa, from Peru, joined the group and it was in this current line-up that „Yahe Dreams“ came to light, the new work of YAHE in which there have also taken part many musicians from Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia.
