Yak-D-Yak is a new groove outfit put together by Mr Yak with assistance from Minuteman and Lenny.
Mr Yak is a Sydney based producer drawing influences on the kitsch and groovy eras of the 50s and 60s.
Mr Yak has grown up with the synth and sampler through the 80s and 90s playing in experimental snyth Sydney bands until discovering the sweet grooves from the past.
Forever looking for the ultimate groove and draw on influences like Jackknife Lee and Fatboy,Burt,Bert, Beck,Art of Noise,Yello,De Phazz.
Also the love of TV and the kitsch B grade movies.
