EDITOR’S NOTE:
Students on the 2008-2009 Unleashed team hail from West Valley to Selah, Toppenish to Bickleton. They’re all charged with serving as the eyes and ears of their campuses, communities and generation. Their job is to document issues and ideas, events, people, places and things that are important to today’s young people, particularly the young people in Central Washington.
Their stories, columns, reviews, photographs and works of art are published through Unleashed, the youth program of the Yakima Herald-Republic, now in its tenth year.
Unleashed belongs to this group of students until another team is selected just before school’s out next spring.
