and start changing a child's life for the better. The problems children face in the developing world differ, but the cause is always the same - poverty.

It's easy to feel hopeless, but through child sponsorship, you truly can do something about it, something extraordinary.

You can personally reach out and connect with a child and their community and follow their progress as they overcome incredible hardships and build for the future.

We help local communities build for the future by helping them gain the food, clean water, education, and healthcare they desperately need. Working together, we build the skills and know-how they need to stand on their own two feet.

You get to see and feel the difference your support makes, through the eyes of your sponsored child and their regular letters and photographs, and not only that if you would like to visit the child you are sponsoring we also organise visits to learn more leave us a message here.

What will you feel as a child sponsor?

We can banish extreme poverty in our generation, yet 30 million people die each year because they are too poor to survive. The Shocking honest truth is that Poverty will never end but we the people can try to make a change in the world.

What The Yammie Johns Project is seeking to do is to increase the quality of life for the suffering families in Africa. By it by bringing water pumps to a village or the much needed AIDS medication that the our government has yet to really make readily available.

Questions frequently asked, I want to help. What can I do? What can we do?.. Yammie JOhns Project is A NON PROFIT ORGANISATION registered under SOLIC CENTRE, Charity No: 1088595. The Yammie johns movement is an awareness project which its fundraising efforts are taking place throughout England and other countries around the world, by people who are inspired to act. The goal of "the ..Movement" is to empower the individual to use their talents and passion to become a part of the "Make a difference" story, and "be the change they wish to see in the world" through action. No idea is too small or too big.

To support The Yammie Johns Project Start by: Placing us in your top friends list, telling others about us. Use your sphere of influence to create a lasting change. Visit us now and again, become part of the story. For all enquiries on how to help with monetary funds, clothes, shoes and other necessitys please enquire either here or at Solicc@virginmedia.com

Make a difference that makes THE diference.

Africa has been hit harder by the HIV/AIDS virus than any other region of the world. More than 17 million Africans have died from AIDS and another 25 million are infected with the HIV virus, approximately 1.9 million of whom are children.

Sub-Saharan Africa had 30 million people living with HIV/AIDS by early 2003 after 3.5 million new infections in 2002. 2.4 million Africans died in 2002. 10 million young people (aged 15–24) and almost 3 million children under 15 are living with HIV.

Very, very few with HIV or AIDS in Africa get antiretroviral treatment. Many millions are not receiving medicines to treat opportunistic infections.

What The Yammie Johns Project is seeking to do is to increase the quality of life for the suffering families in Africa, by it bringing the much needed AIDS medication that our government has yet to really make readily available, and not forgetting increasing the awareness of importance of education. Young Gifted and Black

To be young, gifted and black,
Oh what a lovely precious dream
To be young, gifted and black,
Open your heart to what I mean

In the whole world you know
There are billion boys and girls
Who are young, gifted and black,
And thats a fact!

Young, gifted and black
We must begin to tell our young
Theres a world waiting for you
This is a quest thats just begun

When you feel really low
Yeah, theres a great truth you should know
When youre young, gifted and black
Your souls intact

Young, gifted and black
How I long to know the truth
There are times when I look back
And I am haunted by my youth

Oh but my joy of today
Is that we can all be proud to say
To be young, gifted and black
Is where its at
