Bonjour !!! My name is Charlotte Yanni, I called myself Chayanne on myspace because its short for my full name ( CHArlotte YANNi), I am french but with a geordie accent apparently because I have been living in sunny South Shields since 6 years now and learned english with my other half Kev. I started playing and singing oct 2005 after I discovered KT Tunstall ( and got the chance to meet her), just got hooked and never stopped since !!!! I'm now doing a foundation degree in applied music practice so i can improve faster and learn all the tricks to record my own album. I wrote my first song " How she Felt" about a month after i started playing, it just came naturally so I thought I would continue in that direction even though with a full band I'd like to rock a bit more. I've got some more material in all different styles and languages as I'm french but i write mainly in english. Huck	Jun 6 2009 11:23 AM The new song clip sounds real nice, i hope it does well for you on itunes. im ok, just finished a road trip to the east coast, stopped on the way back in cleveland to see and record kevin devine and the god damn band, that was fun. recorded another show wednesday, hope to do two today and another tomorrow. So life is about the same, busy and fun! hope you are having loads of fun too, it seems you are staying busy too! virtual hugzzzzzzz!
