YAOMB means "Yet Another OneMan Band" and is a " band" with, as the name says, only one member: Rudy. Born in 1969, and involved in music since i was 16 yrs. old. From playing -in an acoustic gospelband- in church, jamming with a group of friends for a never to see the light of day new-wave band (but i still cherish the demotape we made!) and other musicians-, helping organising concerts for allmost unknown artists and (in a team) for more well-known musicians in gospel-music like Charlotte Hoglund, Larry Norman, Kenny Marks and others. Today, i still play in church or at meetings sometimes.
I started recording my own songs in 2002 in my "homestudio". The first songs where recorded with QuartzStudioFree, creating the beats using "HammerHead". Later i started using more 'professional' software like LogicStudio. Most of the songs are beeing distributed for free on the internet since making music is fun for me, and not a career...
Some songs i wrote are inspired by my beliefs, but i am not a ‘gospel musician’. I simply write songs about the things i see, hear and feel. In doing so, i am not limited by a certain style, politics, etc., i'm only (very) limited by my musical skills and technical stuff..
See my site at SoundClick for more (free) songs!
