¶ Yarrow is an indie rock band whose members are music students from Western Connecticut University and SUNY Ulster. They have been together for six years and have played venues throughout The Northeastern United States. Highlights have included playing at venues such as The Knitting Factory in New York City; The Chance in Poughkeepsie; and being three time performers at the Rosendale Street Festival. Although Yarrow is heavily influenced by modern rock bands like Radiohead and Modest Mouse, they combine elements of alternative rock and modern jazz into their unique sound. They find a perfect balance between structured music and complete chaos, but are always on the same page musically. Yarrow brings non-stop energy to the stage and to the studio, where they have been working with Furn Tree Productions for two years now, recording and promoting music locally.
