    A piano, — sometimes a guitar. Texts. A voice. From Paris jazz clubs to South Korea via beautiful Devon (England), and from England again to the majestic castle of La Roche-Guyon via Belgium. Yasmine joue de la musique depuis toute petite. A dix-huit ans, elle est partagée entre deux désirs : le théâtre et la musique. Reçue au Conservatoire Supérieur d'Art Dramatique, elle commence à travailler au théâtre, au cinéma, à la télévision, à la radio...

Elle commence à chanter ses chansons sur scène dans les années 90, seule au piano ou accompagnée par de jeunes musiciens : Théâtre du Rond Point, Théâtre des Déchargeurs, Les Sept Lézards, CDN de Bordeaux, etc.

A l’été 2009, elle a donné son premier concert en Angleterre, à Noss Mayo (Devon) et son texte "Trouble-moi" a été récompensé par un prix à l'Institut Culturel Roumain dans le cadre de Café Poèmes.
Au Printemps 2010, Yasmine a effectué une première tournée en Corée du Sud, dans le cadre de la célébration du quarantième anniversaire de la Francophonie. Elle est ensuite retournée en Angleterre pour un concert unique à la fin du printemps, et était, cet automne, en Belgique ainsi qu'au Château de La Roche-Guyon.

Yasmine a produit un premier album live, A-live !, et un album studio, Out of the Blue, enregistré avec Rémi Toulon, le pianiste du trio Take 3, Emile Biayenda batteur des Tambours de Brazza, Jean-Luc Arramy (basse), Samuel Modestine (sax) et Berti Vox (guitare).

The French cousin of Joan Baez and Tori Amos.

Yasmine learned to play the guitar, - like her father. Then, one day she came home, and there it was : a piano ! Not meant for her of course, but it soon became obvious that she would make it her own. At 18, she was torn between her two loves : acting and music. She was accepted at the premier drama school in France, — the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique. She began to work in theatre, film, and television.

She wrote songs and instrumentals for stage and screen. She wrote and produced a programme for the radio station France Culture ; broadcast in September 2006 and entitled Métis nous sommes des 200%, deux sangs pour sang.

Yasmine started performing her own music in the '90s with her brother, Samuel, on saxophone and clarinet, then later with invited friends (vocalists and other musicians), and of course on her own. In 2009, she made her solo debuts in England, in beautiful Noss Mayo, Devon. In 2010, she toured in South Korea for the celebration of the 40e anniversary of the francophony, and went back to Noss Mayo for an other concert. Autumn saw her sing in Belgium, and at La Roche-Guyon majestic castle.

Her live album, A-Live !, was released in March 2010. Her second album, Out of the Blue, recorded with several young exciting musicians, — Rémi Toulon pianist from the jazz trio Take 3, Emile Biayenda, percussionnist of Les Tambours de Brazza band, Jean-Luc Arramy (basse), Samuel Modestine (sax) and Berti Vox (guitar) — has been released on Nov. 22, 2010.
