Hi my name is Yasmin James. I am a singer/songwriter predomantly, but I do have some acting credits. My musical interests currently lie in House music, Electronica and Dance.
I have worked with many people all to numerious to mention. But as a taster, here are a few: PA tour with The Cool Notes, The Zapp Band, Everlyn Champagne King and many more over the years. I have also worked as a session singer and band member with the following artists; Arthur Louis, Jabula with Julian Bahula of (Tublar Bells/Mike Oldfield fame), Steve Marriott (Small Faces fame/30 Seconds to Midnight), Bizzare Inc., Molly Duncan (Average White Band), Tony Cook and The Party People (Drummer/James Browns Band), Sinclair Pinkney (James Browns Band), Jimmy Thomas, Julian Jonah (Hot to Touch mixed by Paul Hardcastle), A Tribe Called Quest - Bonita Apple Bum remix by Sir Piers and Si Aston (Curious Records), Bugs in the Attic (Remixers' of Because of You) Yasang (Me and Angie Brown) for the SI Project at Adelphoi Records, along with remixes by Banana Republic, Cricco Castelli and Roy Davis Jnr. I have worked in Italy, where I released a single in 2002 on Planet Records called 'Dancing'. In 2005 Yves Larock released Red Dragon - France. I appear on the Richard Grey mix of the same. I have just finished working with Aswad on their new album Aswad vs Rythum Riders.

I'm well thanks, just a bit tired after all the works...
I've been a bit delayed but i've just finished the studio mix room last week-end (some pics on my facebook page..Still yet some finitions like the acoustic foams and woodworks to do but the room already sounds well..) ;-)
I'm currently testing it by finishing a remix for Luc's new Skreatch project...
Normally, i think i'll be able to finish "Reach on up" next week.
I think "Through the night" is a very good choice for Uk Unsigned. I hope you'll have fun. Fingers crossed !! ;-)
