About me: Defining Ya YA...I am a single, beautiful, intelligent, talented and hilarious young women who isn't afraid to take on challenges in life because hey...isn't that what life is about! And while you are here on this planet it is important to take your time and leave YOUR mark on it. One of my favorite movies that came out nearly 15 years ago, "A Bronx Tale", had a very interesting quote that I try to live by, "There is nothing worse than wasted talent." I hope you all have found yours.
When I am not working at an accounting firm, writing poetry and artwork, I get the opportunity to live out a dream of mine. I sing! Sorry...I mean I saaaannng. :-) Anyway, I am involved in 4 singing groups. Two are Gospel Groups, an R & B group called Side Effects in which I was in the Warren G video and "The Electroclash" an awesome and unbelieveable band as well as the sweetest guys you will ever meet. You can check them out on Myspace under the same name!
Singing gives me the opportunity to perfect my craft and travel which is something else I really like to do.
Another great person to meet on Myspace, who's comedic talents are severly slept on is my best buddy, Ya who is under the same name online. He has been there for me when everyone has had an excuse not to stick around. True friendships just like a successful and happy lifestyle, take alot of work. It's up to you whether or not you want to put in the time and this brotha here has put in a lot. Thank you my twin.
I am also a Girl Scout Leader(don't laugh). :-) I was a Girl Scout a few years ago ;-) and I really enjoyed the experience. I guess I receive great joy being able to be a positive influence on someone's life.
I know what you are saying. I am just too darn good to be true and yes, you would be correct!:-) No, I'm nowhere near perfect and will never claim to be but I just try to be the ME I can be.
Now that I've said all of this and I am certain that when you viewed my photo you didn't think you might learn a little something and that there is more to me beyond my face, body and vocals. Here lives a soul that has lived a thousand lifetimes in one and has shared many ups and downs but through all of tears and time wasted tears, I still wear my crown.
