About me: My name is Dana. I'm a freshman at Ball State University, studying international business. I'm pretty sure that's not my passion, but I'm okay with that. I've worked in cornfields for the past 4 summers, I don't mind not enjoying my work.
I tend to be rather optimistic and upbeat, even when upset or down. Particularly when I'm down, even. I think I've come to realize just how many things pass in time. This is a good thing unless you happen to be a very serious person. In which case you might just want to avoid talking to me.
I really, really love words. All of them! When I see them misused, I get really upset. I scream sometimes.
I don't like Calculus nearly as much as I do words. But at the same time, I don't really hate it. I'm just rather indifferent to it.
Some things I find attractive in girls: baseball caps, ponytails, and endless smiles. (And intelligence!)
I fear being alone, but I enjoy solitude and silence. I've traveled enough to know that I don't want to do that alone, though.
I enjoy the arts greatly. I don't do too much myself, though. Except for singing when I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing.

The only problem with that is that when JP is completely out of shape, he can run about triple what I can run when I am in the best shape ever. But I'll figure out some other way to make all the girls cry, lol. and guess what he told me the other day? that one crazy day last week when it got up to like 70 degrees he went for a run and when he got home he kept going on and on about how much he missed running. so now he says he's going to start doing it all the time now and eventually he's going to run a marathon. i asked him why he wanted to run a marathon and he said, "just because." i swear, sometimes he just doesn't make sense.
a little bit of both. as far as school goes, i'm ready to be done. i feel so old at reitz now haha. and i'm really ready to make new friends. but the part that has to leave home, and my mom, and michael isn't looking forward to it quite so much..
haha well maybe knowing you is a sign. =) i feel really good about it...it's been like a total God thing the way it all came together. the counselor lost my SAT scores, so they didn't tell me about it in time...i ended up having to fill out the whole application in one night. haha all that to say...i'm feeling good about it. =)
Yeahh; that might not be the best ranking system when it comes to how high you want your gpa to be. haha.
this year i am doing long jump, like always and i am starting the 400. i did 400 last year, but i only started training for it halfway through the season because i had to fill in for an injured girl. but this year since i'm practicing it from the very beginning, i think i'll be better at it. (hopefully)
ohh haha now that you mention it, i remember that. yeah, i have an interview and "timed writing" saturday...wish me luck. =) haha sounds like you had a blast yesterday. =)
haha who needs studying? i'm doing alright...crazy senior stuff is kind of stressing me out (scrapbooks are underway and project presentations are in two weeks, but you know). oh, exciting news! i don't know if you've ever heard of the lilly scholarship? where four people get full rides to any indiana school...i got an email yesterday and i'm one of the top 10 finalists in the county... =D oh yeah, valentine's day...it was pretty cool. haha we watched sleepless in seattle on tv. =)

I've been pretty good. I've had tons of homework which hasn't been that bad, but next week track practice starts everyday so I think I might have a bit of trouble keeping up on my work.
