Enjoy your ArtWalk experience! Thank you for celebrating and supporting our diverse arts community.
One of Tampa’s longest established arts communities, Ybor City has been home to artist studios, galleries, theater groups and filmmakers for years.
Brad Cooper, Walter Romeo and Sara Romeo founded the nonprofit Ybor Art Association (YAA) in 2008 to bring together these creative venues and help them build business, gain momentum and attract other creative ventures to Ybor.
The association has more than 20 members, including independently owned art galleries, fine arts-related businesses and their sponsors. The alliance, in partnership with the Ybor City Development Corp., hosts the Ybor ArtWalk the first Saturday of every month from noon to 6 p.m.

The Dec 5th Ybor Art Walk was a blast, we had wonderful artists on display at the Ybor Art Studio, it was a great pleasure to get to know them all. After closing up the Studio we journeyed to the Reception at Kamala's beautiful O1 Organic Fine Arts Gallery where we were able to meet Kamala and visit with everyone there. It was beautiful, the food, company, and art was a treasure to be savored! I recommend others get more involved with this fantastic event. Everyone I have dealt with have been so kind, I love this community and am proud to be a part of it. So good to see you Walter Romeo, always a true pleasure. Thank You everyone involved in the YAA for all your time, work, and perseverance! You are all much appreciated!
Artists who would like to display during the art walk are welcome to set up one table space for free at the Ybor Art Studio from 12-5pm. If you are interested, please email or call the studio @ 813-868-4879. Please support the local artists and check out the art walk. Blessings to All!
Thanks Greg. Yeah things have been real good actually. Emplyoment was very rocky for quite some time, but I finally got a great job as a mobile phlebotomist a few weeks ago. Only took me 7 months... Had an MA position at a Drs. ofiice that was just terrebly, so I quite, and one at a nursing home that was ok, but I fucked up on one of the SOPs and got fired. Things are falling into place now. Grace is happyand well, and our little bun in the oven is 4 months along. And thanks for the encouragement on painting. I will soon be able to afford canvases again LOL. Hope things are well in old Tampa. Shit loads of snow here in the mountains ^_^ Cheers man!

Did you know that the 1940's classic film, "Reefer Madness" was based on a murder story from right here in Ybor City? Other known celebrity residents, a Bay area "God Father" was buried there. A long standing heritage of new immigrants starting over in America and a peaceful place to rest our ancestral souls. This is just one of the many interesting things you will learn as narrator Sammy Campisi takes us on a tour of The Historical Italian Club Cemetery in Ybor City. Another MC FILM produced documentary.
