The Aledo Young Democrats was founded by a small contingent of young democrats and liberal independents in Aledo High School, led by Jake Tompkins and aided by Cass Callaway of Tarrant County Young Democrats. AYD is Aledo's first Democrat organization dedicated to good work and support of local and citywide Democratic offices.
