I am interested in learning different ways of perceiving, thinking and feeling through mingling with diverse peoples in the world.
Music
I like mood elevating pop music. What I like best are the American pop and folk songs in 60s, 70s and early 80s.
"I Shot the Sheriff" by Eric Clapton
"Once More the Strawberry Statement"
"What A Wonderful World"
"Cotton Handkerchief"
"Leave Yourself to the Flow of Time"
"Highway Star"
"San Francisco Bay Blues"
"My Boyfriend is Left-handed"
"You've got a friend" by Carole King
Movies
I like to watch intelligence action movies like the Bourne Identity. I read the book in 1980 in Singapore. A couple of years ago, I watched the movie titled "the Bourne Identity", and thought, "I watched this movie before somewhere." But I could not remember when and where. One day I searched some book in the bookshelf at home, and found the exact novel which I bought more than 20 years ago. Oh boy, no wonder I thought I knew it when I watched the movie.
..
Books
I prefer reading science books about Relativity, Complexity Science, Astronomy, etc, and adventure books, intelligence agency fictitious books, social science books including economics, intercultural communications, etc.
Heroes
1) Oda Nobunaga, Japanese legendary powerful Samurai leader in the middle age of Japan (1534 - 1582)
2) Wang Yangming, very famous Chinese action philosopher during the Ming Dynasty in China(1472 - 1528). His action philosophy had great influence on Japanese Samurai reformers during the Meiji Restoration movement. My mother-side ancestors were Wang Yangming philosophy believers, and so am I.
3) Zheng Chenggong (also known as Koxinga), a hero who tried rescuing the Ming Dynasty, and he was born from his Chinese father and Japanese mother in Hirado, Japan(1624 - 1662). My father-side ancestors were pirates living near Hirado, and so they could have joined forces with him to rescue the Ming Dynasty.

I would like to provide my expertise of crosscultural business consulting to non-Japanese business people so that they can enjoy business with Japanese businesses.
I provide crosscultural business seminars to not only Japanese business people but also non-Japanese business people around the world.
Seminars include:
"Effective Communication with Japanese Business people",
"Effective Presentation to Japanese Business people",
"Win-win Negotiation with Japanese Business People", and
"Invisible Japanese Group Dynamics in Manufacturing Management.
They are mainly for non-Japanese business people who use English in performing business across borders.
I regularly fly to the United States of America to provide seminars above to American business people who are engaged in business with Japanese firms.
I conduct seminars in English by using hand-made seminar books in English. They are my original programs. In addition, I also customize programs to meet needs of cleints of mine.
The motto in performing seminars is "Business is a show where a businessperson is an entertainer."When I was in the US receiving distributor management training from an American firm, the trainer said to me, "Sales is a show where a salesperson is an entertainer". I was very impressed with the words, which were actually borrowed from Ed MacMahon, the great talk-show entertainer.
I always keep that in mind whenever I perform seminars so that participants can enjoy my shows.
When I was 10 years old, I started to learn Judo from my father, who was a Japanese Navy officer engaged in communications during World War II. Since then I had played Judo for about 10 years. Nowadays, I don't play it but I maintain muscle strength with sit-ups, chin-ups, push-ups, and jogging.
Who I'd like to meet:
I like to meet people who have interest in developing business with Japanese firms and businesspeople, and those who want to have better communication with Japanese people in general.
Much further,I like to meet many different kinds of peoples in the world, enjoying conversations with them.

hi, good to meet you. Now you mention it, cherry trees are beginning to blossom here as well, though people haven't quite evolved the culture to sit under them. I'm wondering what kind of science books people read in Japan, do you have a lively scene with your own popular science authors, or do you get translation from English, or both ?
Nice to get message from you again. Hope everything is going well for you now.
I am planning to produce a show about China/Chinese for introducing our culture to the west. I'd like you to participate in The JJ Show later as I know that you have some connections with Chinese businessmen. So you must have a lot to share. Just let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
