hailing from Germany's Bavarian capital, munich, are what one might call the new breed of young, urban metal revolutionists. After only amazing four months together they began recording their debut EP "How do you sing when you drown?"
and managed to upload it on myspace.com on the 1st of may. Since then an incredible hype raised up and helped them to get the attention of many listeners in, over, and around the metal scene. With a loyal fanbase of 300+ devoted followers at each concert, there is no doubt that these fellas were born to play the big stages, where they're able to create this incredible buzz and frenzy for their music. How, one might ask - by watching television.
Throwing and spinning guitars, fountains of spitted water and leaving the stage with bloodstaind guitars make YEAH WHAT THE CAPTAIN SAID a must have seen metal act in germany! "How do you sing when you drown?" captures blending elements of contemporary hardcore, catchy deathmetal riffs and then disarms you with their poplike melodic hooks only to knock you down with brutal breakdowns! With vocals that range from screaming and growling to outspoken and shouted messages, all packed and loaded in 4 songs which production and soundquality is in even with long signed high anticipated artists!
In little more than half a year, they have accomplished what most unsigned artist take years to achive! With this extreme tempo and high efforts they are continuing to put out the music that is in their hearts!
"How do you sing when you drown?" is reflected in their thoroughly honest and downright personal lyrics and suggests: if you stick your head into the sand your ass will get kicked without knowing who did it!
