Year Of The Gun is nothing less than a return to the days of what Rock n' Roll used to embody: Hard living, attitude, and rockin' the fuck out every single time they strap on their instuments. You won't find any trite lyrics about broken hearts, or weak radio power pop guitar hooks...Just hard rockin', slick riffin', six-string gunslingin' with a wicked groove that will have you hungry for more! We're talkin' sleazy, in your face, whiskey-fueled ROCK AND ROLL baby!
Born out of the ashes of well-known Milwaukee bands Kickstand, Mudfoot, and Riding A Pink Horse, Year Of The Gun features a cadre of veteran gunslingers who represent all sides of the Milwaukee music scene. Robert G, a respected lead player and well-known guitar teacher, Mr. Douglas, a passionate musician, producer, and recording studio owner, Eric W, a dynamic and rock solid vocalist of Kickstand fame, Bret R, one of Milwaukee's most dynamic drummers and also a founding member of Kickstand, and ultimately rounded out by Jeremy K, an amazing and talented guitarist with classic riffs and new rock edge.
