It’s always been very important to make music we like, but it’s also very important to us that others like the melodies and lyrics. I think people recognize themselves in our stories, or at least I hope so… We started playing together years ago and we have learned a lot through playing shows and play our instruments until our hands are bleeding. It’s something special about playing in a band. We have to stick together all the time, our friendship means a lot to the music. Good friendship means better music, if you get what I mean?
We recorded “Seventeen” in only one day and mixed it the other day. We think the song is great and it’s just the beginning of a new era to us. While we are finishing school and studies we are making music and lyrics all the time and it’s crazy how the songs get together. Philip and I started making “Seventeen” over the phone! I’m sure The Beatles didn’t make their songs that way, at least not with cell-phones… But time is changing, just like music and fashion.

I april vil Rock Mesterskapet gå i gang på Rockehuset – her kårer vi Haldens beste band/artist. En jury plukker ut ti band som skal kokurrere under en finale hvor hvert band fremfører sin låt under en konsert på Rockehuset 19. April.
