NOW ABOUT MOI: I'm a serious person with childlike tendencies. I have this habit of trying to nurture the world, so the metaphysical name of "Mama Wize" was bestowed upon me. It also has a lot to do with my two beautiful children that my people and even strangers have been blessed to know and watch grow. I have an old soul but I'm young at heart. (My children are old souls with youth :))

I love men but don't deal with the mind games - platonic or romantic. Most, if not all the relationships I have with men are healthy and honest (unless they're lying). I rock with my sisters in the same way but I tend to chill with the brethren cuz sisters sometimes can't own up to things they need to erase from their lives. It has a lot to do with that extra emotion we carry within us, as womben. We wanna change the world. WE CAN but we need to heal ourselves, first. I grew up as a tomboy with my big brother, nephews and male cousins, so I have more of a grasp on what brothers talk about and how they exclude those things & people they don't need. I strive to delete the unnecessaries in my life, so everyday is new!!!

I love to play Monopoly, Scrabble, Clue, Dominoes, Chess, go to the House or Reggae (mostly studio one dub, rockers, culture music, etc.)or Hip Hop/RnB hot spots and get my dance ON! I love live performances of just about anything and I love to cook - vegan, vegetarian and meat-lovers dishes. I don't do pork or pork products, so keep the marshmallows away every holiday season... unless they're kosher.

I enjoy walking for miles, swimming, reading, learning, great sex, drawing (industrial design was my major at Brooklyn Tech HS), painting, riding my bike and writing. I like my things in order, organized and clean. No obsessive compulsive disorders, I just like a clean home to let my chi run free. (Can't do that in squallor!)I also love to chill inside, with a cup of herbal tea, some good DVDs, or a few heads to get a good card/board game going. And a fat spliff to make the Ites right, wouldn't hurt none, every once in a blue.

I speak my mind when necessary but when I find myself talking & the party needing my wisdom ignores me, I keep my mouth shut and keep my distance. Whatever will befall U is evident to me, already. I put my heart n soul into my friends & when I notice the change or their need for something or someone unnecessary, I step back n let it do what it do. Just don't look for me to help in cleaning the shit as it hits the fan. I will have ur back thru the bullshit, though. Ask around - muhfuhs know I got/had their backs more than too many times. To know me is to love me, ...or you can just be hating real hard!!!

OPRAH WINFREY, CORNELL WEST, JADA PINKETT SMITH, WILL SMITH, DENZEL WASHINGTON, QUEEN LATIFAH, ROBERT DeNIRO, AL PACINO (c'mon, Scarface, Flawless, Don Corleone, & both of them in HEAT?) & the legendary, LENA HORNE. I wouldn't mind meeting DAKOTA FANNING (amazing lil actress), BRAD PITT, ANTHONY HOPKINS, SAMUEL JACKSON, HALLE BERRY, HARRISON FORD, MADONNA, SEAN CONNERY, VAL KILMER, MORGAN FREEMAN, TONI MORRISON, JOHN TRAVOLTA & MICHAEL MANNING (author of several Black experience textbooks I read in college).

I'd love to meet MY three musical geniuses: STEVIE WONDER, PRINCE (& The Revolution-his most potent band, to me) & STING. There's a multitude of legends I'd love to meet but they've passed on, including JAY DEE, who I also share my earth strong with.

I need to meet MOHAWK INDIAN ELDERS to guide my animal spirit where it needs to go for my ascension.

I'd love to meet up with all my friends that I used to dance with on MTV's THE GRIND, circa '94-'96. I got some flix of u... Holla if U in heeer!

I'd love to meet up with all my friends from THOUGHTFORMS UNDERGROUND, CHAMELEON LOUNGE, BABY JUPITER, the TRUE SHELTER b4 it was called Vinyl, WETLANDS, the COOLER, 40 BELOW, the old BUDDHA BAR near SOB's, ZANZIBAR/NWK, BLACK BOX/NWK, SOUND FACTORY BAR, the TUNNEL, the AFTERLIFE at the Canal Room, Fareta's and Crosby St. and all the homefelt Hip Hop/Spoken Word/Love Performance spaces and dance arenas that are gone now, that WE pioneered.

THE AFTERLIFE

I LOVE TO DANCE! The club 'inr-chi' has always been a spiritual awakening, a revival of my soul, so to speak. Whatever negativity I'm feelin can be channeled & expressed without having to ring a mother fuckers neck or making a hasty decision. When I dance, I drain the mental and emotional toxins out of me through the movement, almost as if I'm possessed by the rhythm. (Very exciting, this dancing is!) I can't relive 'those' good times but I can surely reverberate the energy with the people who shared it with me. And I have no problem passing the jewels to others.

***But beware of the fraudulent club heads! They make it hard for the true vibration to maintain it's highest state of soulfulness. Their fuckery literally corrupts the chi thats been created by the dancers and DJs before them. They lie about being part of the movement & it's growth and still don't contribute to its natural elevation. They have no ambition to grow as dancers, music lovers or DJs. They just wanna be down and say they were at a party! So beware the fraudulent, non-dancing, sex for comps, needing validation, gossiping, whole asses who frequent the clubs and talk a lot... yet say & constitute nothing, still!***

Don't get it twisted...Regardless of race, age, religion or nationality, I love meeting new people! So, if you have an open mind, an open heart, common sense, a slick sense of humor with no people phobias & you love to learn new things n talk about 'em, then I'd love to meet YOU!!! And please, just B U ;) Nothing extra needed in my Queendom!
