Born to human parents in the year 1975 Geoffrey Pye looked much like a tiny bird covered in snow. His creative pursuits began early with Styrofoam Worlds and wooden gun adventures. He grew up in a place called Ottawa ON. which suited him fine until he realized the skyline could no longer accommodate his immense need for the practices of imagination. He began to play music, and this brought a small grin to his now teenage face. The music came fast and fluid and he spent every possible minute recording it as he moved his gear from place to place. Drawing from influences far and wide Pye took shelter in books, art and musical styles ranging from Keith Jarrett to Leonard Cohen. In 1998 he formed The Killers with friends Julien Beillard (Woodenstars) and Tim Kingsbury (Arcade Fire). Having had the privilege of growing up amongst many wonderful writers and musicians Pye took his skills to the Middle East in a last ditch attempt to broker a peace deal but unfortunately, it failed. Then, due to flight patterns, Toronto became his reluctant home for a number of years. There he wrote and performed with his talented friends John Tielli (Metal Kites), Robin Buckley (Tusks), Marcus Quin (The Silt) and Aaron Booth. After many negotiations and hard times with inner spirits he moved to Halifax N.S. This is where he grew into a funny old man who could no longer take the "scene". Public performances are infrequent but sometimes you can catch him performing with his young band of boys who call him Dad. Pye has recently completed a new record which was written and recorded in the privacy of his home recording compound. It is called "Double Nature". Pye is awaiting a man/woman with feathers and money to come and take it away so that you will understand just why it is you are alive today. Nuff' said.
Pye, you're not normal. But hey, we're all here because we're not all there. This could be the start to a fabulous friendship. Nice sounding stuff, here.
Warm regards,

Thanks Yellow Jacket Avenger! i admire your eclecticism - not in the way that people use that term as a synonym for 'weird', but in a good way, such as 'diverse, exciting, stimulating' etc. All the best.

Ha!! You must be psychic....yesterday a lad in a buisness suit walked up to me at work, and asked me for a napkin...I'm a fucking Hostess....why the fuck would I have a napkin?!! I directed him to the bar and as he walked away, I pretended to grab a "napkin" from between my legs and threw it at him....the bouncers for the club upstairs kiled themselves laughing! ;0) I need a new job. I'm well in health. I miss you. Come back! ~ L
Hey G If that is the only path to the creation of a human baby, I can deduce that I must have, at least once, practiced this "puppy touch" of which you speak. Is there any additional information about this practice on the internet?
