Yellow are a rock band from Cape Breton Island. Their debut EP, "The Heat'll be in the Grooves, Right?", was recorded in the summer of 2003 at Ultramagnetic Studios in Halifax by Charles Austin. They're influenced by bands like the Hellacopters, The Who, and Weeping Tile. Yellow have played with such acts as C'mon, the Weakerthans, the Constantines, the Joel Plaskett Emergency, Rock Ranger, Greg MacPherson, North of America, Wintersleep, and The Burdocks, among others. Yellow's high-energy, melody-driven songs are characterized by strong vocals, tight guitars, and explosive drumming.
