• Bio

Yellow Spots, a band from Budapest who like to refer to themselves as a "disemboweling rock'n'roll band" are an absurd bunch of guys with morbid lyrics an featuring a stand-up bass as well as wind instruments. Think of Johnny Rotten committing sodomy on Miklós Fenyő (a has-been Hungarian rock'n'roll star best known for making a shitload of money from the rock'n'roll revival in Hungary in the beginning of the 80ies) after the consumption of half litre of pepper "palinka" (a Hungarian national drink) at a fucked-up socialist music festival, with the resulting offspring being raised on the works of Marquis de Sade, Lucio Fulci's B-movies and Dreher Bak (one of the worst beer products ever to have come out of the breweries of Hungary). The unbearable and horrible genre called "disemboweling rock'n'roll" is born. Bela Lugosi happily consumes a gulasch, followed by a shot of morphium and sets off to a Yellos Spots gig. László Komár (picture the Hungarian version of Elvis Presley, only less successful) is not that brave. He only gets as far as listening to the band's works on headphones behind closed doors, while tightening the knot on his tie and dancing about in front of the mirror. "This is the band that all mothers must get their daughters to give it a listen." (English translation by Joseph Horsedick).... They publicate their first demo included 13 songs in the year of 2005 called "Gutting Ballads". After this the "5 pieces dinner with the gutting men" Ep came in 2006, and "Misshapen future view is now the poetor" in 2008. Three of them are the band self issues..... The band who definiates its style "gutting rockandroll" use to play regularly in Hungarian clubs and festivals, but it could be seen in Austria, Germany, Poland, Czeh and Slovak Republic too... ----------------------------------------------- A magát csak "belezős rakkendroll" zenekarként számon tartó, budapesti illetékességű Yellow Spots egy abszurd rock&roll csapat, morbid humorú szövegvilággal, nagybőgővel és fúvósokkal. A 2003 óta garázdálkodó banda a "Belezős Balladák", az "Ötfogásos vacsora a belezősökkel" és a "Torz jövőkép most a múzsa" után most új, egész estés lemezén munkálkodik.
