"Book Of The Sick" is a drastic departure from my first album "Currents." While my first album focused on fusing live elements with electronics, the new album is focused on the creation of aural spaces. Harsh, aggressive textures are combined with experimental jungle beats, tribal, down-tempo, and extended techniques on the flute. It is available through OXO-Unlimited and my website by clicking the link above.

ALTERNATE BIO:
Up until a few years ago, Justin spent most of his time working with R&B and wedding bands and practicing jazz in his room. It was during this period that our hero developed an unprecedented tolerance for alcohol and had his first experience of being yelled at on the bandstand. This proved important to his development, as well as providing free wine and chicken soup. However, his unorthodox approach and sullen demeanor so alienated the perpetually besotted band leaders that after a year he was barred from ever playing jazz again, with anybody. Soon our hero found himself making aesthetically safe renditions of classic Autechre songs for a hit cable TV show on the A&E channel. He once made a Drill n’ Bass style remix in 7/8 for Duncan Sheik who proclaimed Justin “a genius” before quitting his performing career to write music for broadway musicals. Justin has been known to sport a mustache from time to time and place large orders at Taco Bell. He also likes Conan O’Brien.
