Neye Benziyor?
Sitting in an empty park at night. Alone. Feeling empty.
Pulling inspirations from all the way around the dial. Tony, heir to the "Happy Birthday song" fortune had been working with various musicians for the better part of a year when he met Kris in late 2007. But due to lack of gear, time and a mustache contest nothing came of the meeting so he continued to jam & work on different projects.. It wasn't until March 2008, with the help of a 1984 DeLorean, a flux compactor and a website called Craigslist.org, when Kris randomly answered a "missed connections" post by a "guitar player looking to experiment and play good music". It just so happened that the ad was posted by Tony. After another meeting the duo decided they were in search of the same sound. They began working on new material when asbestos was found in their rehearsal studio. The Dept of Health was immediately called out and the white suits were on the scene within the hour. While collecting samples, Wes, the lead technician overheard the newly formed band speaking of auditioning bass players. He began explaining how he had recently given up guitar to play bass after doing a black mold clean up of Les Claypool's studio. The threesome started playing small clubs and while playing a costume party disguised as Three's Company, (Kris naturally assuming the role of Suzanne Somers), they met Mani. The traveling drummer. He had pit himself in a fruit eating contest against reigning hot dog champ Takeru Kobayashi, who was coincidently dressed up as a mango. After Mani squashed Kobayashi in the contest, he earned the nickname Mango. The guys were so impressed...it seemed like the perfect storm. The band's first EP titled, "Blessed are the Forgetful" was released in March of 2009 on iTunes. Then in October of 2009 the foursome entered the studio, this time at The Hangar with Bryce Gonzoles behind the board to record the first of 3, 3 song singles, leading up to their first full length LP. The band, now under the banner, "Life in 24 Frames" is very passionate about their music. With a tight rhythm section, beautifully ambient guitar, and cynically loaded lyrics, these guys are "looking to experiment and make good music"...So to speak.
