YeraSon is a New York based Cuban Charanga Orquestra- with a multinational flair. It's members represent a cross-section of countries, from Cuba, Panama, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, England, Japan, and the U.S. YeraSon Orquesta Charanga electrifies with old-school Cuban music with a distinctly modern New York twist. This Cuban Charanga orchestra interprets authentic Cuban son, mambo, cha cha cha, cumbia and merengue with inimitable drive and swing. The bands unique sound is at once elegant and energetic with a contagious rhythm that attracts dancing and listening crowds alike. YeraSon is a treat for both the ears and the feet!

YeraSon has appeared at the Latin Heritage Awards Ceremony the Kennedy Center in Washington D. C., Town Hall New York as guest artists of the Prairie Home Companion in a live broadcast on National Public Radio, a Nokia commercial, in New York Magazine's Spring 2008 Wedding Issue , for NBC Universal Experience at Rockefeller Center, the 2009 Columbia Expo Show, at the Rainbow Room, performances at the Brazilian Film Festival of New York, Univision’s Noticias and Despierta America, Housing and Urban Development’s Concert Series in Washington D.C., Harbor Conservatory for the Performing Arts Ritmos Calientes Series, North River New Music Series, Ramas Y Raices Series, New York University, the New School for Social Research, Pratt, the Graduate Center at City College, the Godwin-Ternbach Museum at Queens College, the Chelsea Art Museum, the Stella Adler Studio for Acting, the Greenwich House Music School, Susquehanna University, John Jay College, Ramapo College, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY New Paltz, Mercy College, College of St. Rose, NYC College of Technology, as well as numerous New York area night clubs, restaurants, and outdoor festivals.

YeraSon can proudly claim to be the only Charanga Orquesta that has held weekly performances in New York City-first at the White Rabbit in the Village and currently at Havana Central Times Square, since 2004.
