An eclectic, instrumental quartet from Northwest Ohio. Bill Faehnle (guitar), Bob Klein (drums, percussion), Hanna Mignano (violin) and Eric Wallack (Chapman Stick, bass) bring together their love of jazz, world music, post rock and improvised art music in a blend that ends up sounding like little else in the local scene. YISY gigs regularly near home and no two sets are ever the same. Any given tune may be played a gentle samba one night and a slashing reggae or bent jazz the next. Improvisation and group interplay is YISY's lifeline and the band's joy of making and sharing music is nothing short of magical.
Thank you so very much for adding us to your friends. Just listening to your wonderful music. Lake Geneva is currently my favorite - don't mind, I'm European ...
