Proposition 8 is simple and straightforward. It contains the same 14 words that were previously approved in 2000 by over 61% of California voters: “Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California.”
Because four activist judges in San Francisco wrongly overturned the people’s vote, we need to pass this measure as a constitutional amendment to restore the definition of marriage as between a man and a woman.
Voting YES on Proposition 8 does 3 simple things:
1.) It restores the definition of marriage to what the vast majority of California voters already approved and what Californians agree should be supported, not undermined.
2.) It overturns the outrageous decision of four activist Supreme Court judges who ignored the will of the people.
3.) It protects our children from being taught in public schools that “same-sex marriage” is the same as traditional marriage, and prevents other consequences to Californians who will be forced to not just be tolerant of gay lifestyles, but face mandatory compliance regardless of their personal beliefs.

well i tell ya the people speak and its clear they want traditional marriage the way God has always intended marriage to be between 1man+one women=marriage. and everyone needs to learn that. i support traditional marriage myself. cause god made man then women. not man then man or women then women. nope he made man then he made women. so they did the right thing. to protect and preserving traditional marriage the way it always has been and should be.

I just watched a clip on Jack Black's Yes on 8 musical and was disturbed...There were tons of actors in it...Thanks for pointing it out...I will be more careful from now on about which actors I support.

I wanted to ask for a favor: could you sign a petition asking the governor of California to veto SB 572? You can sign it at www.savecalifornia.com it basically asks the governor to veto a bill which would allow openly teaching children at public schools that homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality is good and natural and maybe even for them (!!!) of course that is just unacceptable for sooo many reasons!!
