YESTERDAY'S CHILD formed in late 2000 the way most bands come together; couple guys jamming in a garage. They saw it was good and so they invited a couple more friends and lo, more goodness.
Since then we've had the good fortune to continue performing at some of the area's best rock clubs including House of Blues, Brixton SoBay, Sagebrush Cantina, Paladino's, BB King's, The Lighthouse Cafe, The Cat Club and the list keeps growing. The band is frequently hired for private and corporate functions as well, so if you'd like to talk about a special event, please let us know.
The Child pays tribute to classic rock works from 1965 to 1975, what we consider to be the 'Golden Decade'. Jimi Hendrix, Cream, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Zeppelin, Deep Purple, David Bowie, Joe Walsh, The Animals, Amboy Dukes, Neil Young and on and on....
Come to one of our all-night shows we'll play up to 4 hours of various classic rock deep tracks and favorites; but at a club, lounge or concert venue we'll have the privilege of performing one of our 'special showcase' shows for you. Currently we present our tribute to Cream "A Psychedelic Blues Trip.

Over the last few years, I was asked again and again to let people when my novel came out. I can’t remember who asked, so I guess I will just tell everyone. Hi Yesterdays Child, Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.
This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out.
