MySpace a place for friends

    Hey, we’re Yesterhouse Drive and welcome to our myspace! YD was formed on July 7th, 2007 (7 - 7 - 07) and is made up of 5 members: Ryan Little has the vocals and handles the majority of the songwriting; Jake Smith covers the brunt of the lead guitar and some of the rhythms; Josh Cox takes the rhythm and some of the leads; Matt Christian fronts the rhythm section playing bass; and finally, Taylor Cobb finishes up the rhythm section playing the drums.

    Although a fairly young group, YD has a lot of experience. Ryan, Jake, and Josh got together and formed a band called Front Flip Walter in 2005, then disbanded after about 8 months. Jake later went on to meet Matt, and formed a band known as The Cuzzmuffins. Ryan and Josh meanwhile went on to join a band called Chek’s Revenge, where they auditioned Taylor, who had been playing for about 3 years, as their drummer. They played together for a few months, but soon hit some bumps and decided to call it quits. Eventually, Jake, Matt, Ryan, Josh, and Taylor reunited to form Yesterhouse Drive. They then got their first gig at a place called Rooster’s in Auburn. Matt and Taylor did a great job learning about 8 songs in 3 days, and the show was a success.
