Twelve years have slipped by since Yes Virginia first graced the airwaves of the Delaware Valley with their electrified rendition of the Christmas classic "Do You Hear What I Hear". Each year the band (in one incarnation or another) have plugged in, turned up, and cranked out some of the most memorable (and at times, disturbing) versions of songs you've heard a thousand times before (though never quite like this). ..Hailed by the critics as "the next Mannheim Steamroller" and drawing comparisons to Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Gary Hoey, Yes Virginia will at one moment make you do a double take and say "what the hell was that?" (listen to "My Favorite Things") and then pull out an incredibly beautiful and reverant version of a beloved carol (check out "The First Noel"). Not content to be just another rock bastardizing Christmas music, Yes Virginia takes great pride in looking past the obvious to make these songs truly their own. ..Over the past few years, Yes Virginia members Paul Janocha and Mario Padovani have been extremely active with 93.7 WSTW (Wilmington, DE) in promoting the Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots Foundation, having helped produce two benefit CDs for the charity. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ............Myspace Layouts.. - ..Myspace Editor.. - ..Image Hosting.... .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..........Get your own Flash MP3 Player..........
