    While the pop world is filled with singers fronting anonymous bands, hometown heroes YFB have gained quite a bit of top of the pops attention as a group. In fact, no rhythm and blues combo in recent memory has climbed the hit parade nearly as fast or with quite the rabid fandom as YFB. Their chart topping single "Cut Off" leaves little doubt as to why one raving reviewer issued this palatable praise: ..They're the Beatles plus Nirvana times the Backstreet Boys... squared!.. And it's no wonder they gather those comparisons when a recent showcase required only the mention of their first names before the announcer was drowned in screams of the enthusiastic, standing room only crowd..... Indead, YFB have found their own formula for success. Each number is built upon Dylan's ever jangling guitar, the architect's vision backed by the steady, no frills drumming of Norman. The rhythm section's foundation is rounded off by Chet's always in the pocket, Hofner bass and witty style. As Riff incomprehensibly layers her sometimes gentle, but always ready to roar lead guitar work, the cycle is made complete when Dylan steps to the microphone and presents his bluesy mix of showman and everyman singing..... Hear Records have truly found their flagship band in this self-made group primed to take the pop world on their own terms.
