Il nostro scopo è far conoscere la band il più possibile, attraverso volantinaggio, richiesta ai media o nei locali dove/quando possibile, promozione via web, passaparola e quant’altro ci venga in mente, e raccogliere fans del Veneto e in generale fans italiani dei Your Favorite Enemies, naturalmente, per far crescere questa famiglia e allargare la nostra community.

Quando Alex Foster (voce), Jeff Beaulieu (chitarra), Sef (chitarra), Ben Lemelin (basso), Miss Isabel (voce e keys) e Charles Moose Alicy (batteria), si unirono per formare gli Your Favorite Enemies nel Novembre 2006, decisero di organizzare ogni singolo aspetto della carriera della band basato sui loro valori e sulla loro attitudine del “Do It Yourself”. Foster è già conosciuto per il suo impegno nei confronti dei diritti umani, essendo un fervente portavoce e un appassionato giovane speaker. Gli Your Favorite Enemies sono una miscela di trame melodiche sporche e impeccabili. I loro testi abili e introspettivi hanno attratto fanatici musicali da tutto il mondo, che organicamente e spontaneamente dimostrano la loro passione per la band attraverso un’incredibile moltitudine di street team, community, fan site e forum emergendo in tutte le grandi città del pianeta.
Pertanto, ispirati da questo incredibile sostegno e sommersi da un impressionante numero di richieste per poter comprare e trovare la musica degli Your Favorite Enemies, i 6 musicisti prendono la decisione di creare una label, la Hopeful Tragedy Records, nell’Aprile del 2007 al fine di poter offrire cinque canzoni auto-prodotte in EP ed esclusivamente per i fan "And If I Was To Die In the Morning… Would I Still Be Sleeping With You", realizzato il primo Giugno, a soli 10$ in tutto il mondo, spedizione inclusa. Tuttavia, pur affrontando una forte riluttanza e una grande mancanza di supporto dai precedenti consiglieri della band, che dubitavano di ogni possibilità di successo, i musicisti mantennero la loro visione onorando i loro fan più fedeli con un ridicolo e mondano costo per chiunque fosse disposto a comprare il loro EP, da Montreal a Tokyo.
Dal momento che le persone aspettavano un flop monumentale e una bella mossa per causare danni alla carriera della band, la decisione di creare una label di registrazione al fine di vendere il loro EP attraverso il proprio negozio online, si è rivelato un determinante punto di svolta per gli Your Favorite Enemies. I musicisti di Montreal hanno terminato il 2007 con più di 300 mila copie vendute del loro EP, il primo tour Europeo promozionale, un meet and greet con i membri della community giapponese a Tokyo, un’ incredibile approvazione da parte dei principali media internazionali e la creazione della Hopeful Tragedy Records, la succursale multimediale dedicata allo sviluppo di nuove iniziative web e alla produzione del loro affermato podcast show settimanale su "YFE-TV"; diversi elementi fanno svoltare gli Your Favorite Enemies in un nuovo e più emozionante “Do It Yourself” per emergere dai modelli di musica non-tradizionale.
Inutile dire che, se il 2007 è stato una buona indicazione per quello che il futuro aveva in serbo per i Your Favorite Enemies, l’anno seguente è stato indubbiamente interessante per i 6 musicisti di Montreal, che sono stati nominati una delle 5 top band emergenti del 2008 dal Billboard Magazine, un titolo che è difficile da rinnegare dopo l’incredibile successo che hanno avuto nel 2008. Successo che include l’essere la prima band in assoluto a trasmettere live un concerto sulla loro pagina MySpace, ottenendo un successo straordinario col loro primo tour giapponese, vendendo più di 60mila copie del loro secondo album “Love Is A Promise Whispering Goodbye”, uscito nel Giugno 2008, sotto l’etichetta indipendente della band, Hopeful Tragedy Records, e diventando la prima band in assoluto a scrivere canzoni per il leggendario video game Final Fantasy.
Enormemente sostenuti dal grandioso supporto dei loro fedelissimi fan, i Your Favorite Enemies sono già in studio a lavorare su nuove canzoni, impegnati in un “fantastico viaggio dell’immaginario” per il loro terzo album che uscirà in tutto il mondo nel 2009.

MICKY!!! I fuckin' miss you sis!!! Besides missing you like hell everything's great over here, the days are long but I enjoy it a whole lot! Today I was supposed to put subtitles on our new videoblog but the program and one of the pro macs is not working... which is kinda cool as I get the chance to write you instead! =) Thank you a thousand times for the link to the song... it's AWESOME, you're right... such an energy! At the end we can hear a little part of a new song... seriously, when I heard that for the first time while I did translation a tear run over my face... just to know how much love and passion they put into it... it was amazing! Comment vas-tu? Moi ça va bien, j'ai passé un bon week-end en famille. Je suis allée voir la compétition de ping-pong de mon petit frère (il n'a gagné qu'un match dommage). Sinon je vais cet après-midi chez le tatoueur pour prendre des renseignements pour mon tatouage. Le chiffre 4 est mon chiffre porte-bonheur et c'est aussi un chiffre qui a une grande place dans ma vie (je suis née le quatrième jour du quatrième mois de l'année). Et toi tu es tentée par les tatouages? Passe une bonne fin de semaine.

Non sono andato alla festa di Halloween. Ho preferito riposarmi a guardare un film a casa. Si, siamo andati alla piscina con mio amico potughese e abbiamo fatto la cena insieme con siei coabitatori...Spero di si!! Non vedo l'ora di essere in Sardegna. torno Domenica o Mercoledi (ho le bigliette per le 2 vuole). Se mi piacessi, e non ho quindi tempo, rimasto un po' più lontano. Trascorsi una buona settimana
